About EU or Not
What this site is, how it sources, and how to reuse it.
EU or Not tracks the rules that decide whether a parcel, a product or a business model is allowed into the European Union — and what it costs when it is.
The scope is deliberately narrow: cross-border commerce. Customs reform and the EU Customs Data Hub, de minimis and low-value imports, VAT and IOSS, extended producer responsibility, packaging, product compliance and market surveillance.
How this is sourced
Primary sources first. The Official Journal for legal text, DG TAXUD and the Council for procedure and dates. Where an article relies on secondary reporting or on a rule still in trilogue, it says so in the text and lists the source at the bottom.
Every article carries a Sources block and a date. When facts change — and in this
area they change often — the article is updated and the change is noted rather than
silently overwritten.
This is journalism about regulation, not legal advice. Filing obligations depend on your goods, your flows and your establishment. Verify against the legal text before you act.
