NEOTEC is a CDTI (Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial) program for technology-based Spanish startups. It provides 0% interest loans (partially non-repayable) of up to €250K to companies less than 3 years old. Eligible startups must have a strong R&D component and a 3-year business plan. Unlike most grants, NEOTEC is a loan and must be partially repaid, though the repayment conditions are favorable. The program runs one or two calls per year. CDTI also offers follow-on instruments for more mature companies. Applicants must be incorporated in Spain.
