The EIT (European Institute of Innovation & Technology) funds Knowledge & Innovation Communities (KICs) — large-scale pan-European partnerships in specific sectors. Each KIC runs its own startup accelerator programs: EIT Climate-KIC (sustainability), EIT Digital (digital transformation), EIT Health (healthcare innovation), EIT Food (agri-food), EIT Manufacturing (industry), EIT Urban Mobility (transport), and EIT InnoEnergy (clean energy). Programs typically offer non-dilutive grants of €15K–€100K+, business plan competitions, education, mentoring, and access to a pan-European network. Applications go through the individual KIC, not centrally.
